Default Cold air intake????

Which cold air intake has had the best results on the dyno? My friend is a new owner of an 01' S2k White. He is interested in an Intake, but I have no clue since I drive a Type-R. I would be very thankful for any iinfo. Also what would be the cost or internet site that I could find this at.

Thanks again

a K&N typhoon CAI, toda headers and custom 2.5" catless exhaust. I'm itching to try the V2 AEM CAI, been hearing good things about it.

they key is the AEM EMS, without it and a good tuner, there wouldn't be that large of a gain.

with out a device to tune your go-fast parts, they really don't work to their full potential.

Like Vapor said, with a good tuner and the EMS system you can have very nice gains. People think by throwing together some high-end JDM parts will yield instant power. It's integrating the right parts with a good tuning device..

Let me add: ESPECIALLY on cars like the S2000 and NSX.

Which is why for now - my S2000 stays STOCK. Either you spend a few hundred bucks to gain a few horse power, or you spend a few thousand, and invest some good quality time into your car and gain what Vapor did.

40hp is a lot of hp to gain, thats pretty cool

Just curious, how much did all that cost? Around 3000?

Why don't you get the car first and learn how to drive it.

NOTHING is worse than someone who keeps saying they'll get such and such mod for their car before they even buy it.

Believe me, JMS JT is not a hater. I think he's saying "don't put the horse before the carriage".. My parents used to say that. I agree with him, learn the car first, before modding..

Not too long ago you said you were researching before you have purchase a S2000. Okay, the real queston is, have you purchased the car yet? Who cares about who's better? That is lame. We're all enthusiasts here, it's just a car man. The car doesn't make the man. I could care less. Like I'm really jealous of someone I've never met before on the internet.

Lessons learned:
1. You type like you are 16 years old.
2. Grow up, who cares who is better than who.

p.s. Before you want to get in a flame war with me, don't say **** like

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Bs2kB6 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i'll try that tom. and by the way, would an integra clutch fit on a prelude? i dont think ti would.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Oh look, you still own a Prelude. Why don't you post a picture of your S2000 AND your Prelude. Oh and p.s. No, they are different clutches.

well, i dont' start flame wars for no reason and its not a flame war, its just gettin **** straight, just watch for the things you say. thats the end of it. its not flame war nor abotu cars or anything. its about you hating on me for the past month or so, and the reason why i say he is hating is because me and him got in an arguement about how he watned to call all the honda dealers across the ******* country in florida to report how some kid said he had pushed a brand new s2k to hte limit and i found that ridiculous. we wont get into that tho, that was the past. i have grown up you just haven't. and i still have the prelude, i am just starting to sell it because right now im selling my sisters car and puttin my effort into that. and i do know that **** about learn your car before you mod it. i have been in this scene for a long time, adn not just H-T **** or auto X crap. i drag, and my car is bone stock and i pulled off a 14.9 best. so i know trust me. no mod even a turbo wont make you fast if you can't drive the car right. same **** wiht if you have 500whp with horrible tires you'll spin through out most gears and run a bad *** time as to if you had slicks you woould rip out the best times. so please, dont go there would me guys. thanks i appreciate it. ps. thanks for the prelude/integra clutch info. some guy had todl me he would sell it to me and i was like uhh, tehy dont fit he goes, yea they will we'll do it, i was like ok either i dont know that **** or he doesn't so i thought i woudl make sure here. thanks btw. and i have heard that saying but in armenian. good saying

Bottom line:

So you don't have the car yet so don't put the horse before the carriage.

Despite you saying:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how do you know whether i have the car or not and second, your just hating cuz you dont like me and your a hateR!!!! ~ keep hating tho, i'll always be better than you </TD></TR></TABLE>

"I'll always be better than you." ROFL. I think you need to watch what you're saying.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> its about you hating on me for the past month or so, and the reason why i say he is hating is because me and him got in an arguement about how he watned to call all the honda dealers across the ******* country in florida to report how some kid said he had pushed a brand new s2k to hte limit and i found that ridiculous. we wont get into that tho, that was the past. i have grown up you just haven't. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Translation: We won't get into that but I'll needlessly bring something up that is not even relevant to this conversation.

it isn't relevant but the guys think i am jsut saying it out of no where but im not, there is a reason why i konw your hating on me and it is because of that florida honda dealership crap and you know hwat its cool i can careless. thats my opinion and how i felt towards that situation and you got upset. and whoever said ima put the mods on before i drive the car to learn the car better? i sure as hell i know i didn't. i jsut said my PLANS ARE. you guys just jumped to some conclusions of your own.
