Cna you use a diff. pulley on any acura motor?????
I need to find out if I can put a Ls crank pulley on my JDM GSR 1.8L obviously its the same litter. but what happened was I broke my P/S area off the gsr pulley so I took it to work and milled it off flush with the larger belt areas the machine shop says they can not balance it unless they have the crank and flywheel, Im not taking my crank out just to get this balanced. has anyone ever put another pulley on a N/A application? I know the part umbers are different but **** man they are looking really damn close to the same thing I think one is just a little heavier though im pretty sure the timing marks line up also ill put them up to together tonight and check.
thanks in advance
details you might need:
my gsr is a 95 1.8L
the LS is my old LS 1.8L its the obd-I (B18B I guess)
Also the shop said it looks even enough to still be balanced (but what do they know right.)
thanks in advance

Cool thanks
but out of curiosity do you or any one else know what the diff. is I.E the diameter, belt grove with or something?
just wondering why the part numbers are different

ok but I guess what I was really asking is will it hinder any performance or cause something to go wrong?
