Me and my friend jason just painted my stock 97 gsr wheels a week or so ago for around 35$ (for the paint), and finally got out of the rain long enough to get some pics.. shes not extremely clean, but hell with all the rain what can you expect

tires look way too big, the wheels look really small, probably the tires in combination w/ the black wheel center and polished lip... I dunno, probably will look better w/ proper size tires.
loving those painted rims. Very nice work. Ive been thinking about doing that to my rims but I have never seen any until now.Now that ive seen them i definately will consider it.

My friend and I both painted them. We went assembly line style hehe.
My car has no drop, the rear may look a llittle low, but i have a set of wheels in my trunk. I know the wheels aren't 17's, and i know the sam's club tires are huge, but i couldn't turn down 25$ dollars for a set of decent looking wheels.
I used Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating, i wanted glossy black, but all i could find was Graphite, which still came out pretty dark. I bought 4 cans of graphite and 1 clear coat (same brand) and only used 2 of the graphite cans. I put 4 light coats of graphite on the wheels. I waited at least 10 minutes between coats. My tips if anyone doe this are spray the wheels completly, but lightly! And Keep the can at least 10 inches from the surface. also, use 400 grit sandpaper and scuff the holy hell out the wheels before painting. important to use 400grit though

haha people on this board will flame you if you have 17's.
But seriously I would get some proper sized tires when you can. Those oversize ones are hurting your performance (both in handling and acceleration, as the final drive ratio is effectively lower).

I think that we did a great job on them.
We went to Autozone and bought the Duplicolor graphite spray which was about $4 a can and the clear coat paint also. There is also an article on http://www.team-integra.net regarding the painting of the wheels.

I spent like $10 on 3 cans of spray paint.
