I've been going through the process with a couple of guys to set up a 944 Cup series through NASA. As a way to benefit from each other someone suggested that we combine the 944 Cup with the Honda Challenge to ensure that we get our numbers where we want to be. Besides my own personal motives of being into Porsche AND Honda I think this would work for a couple reasons... the most evident being the only Porsches are allowed are non-turbo 944. In terms of horsepower, they've got NOTHING on a lot of Hondas. There's info below. This isn't some neighborhood race club, we're talking seious stuff here. I'm not exactly sure who's in charge of the Honda stuff but I'd like to get in contact with you. Thanks.

I don't think this will fly, Honda-Challenge has really taken off already, with 3 series sponsors and many more contegincy sponsor to come.. We already have at least 15 drivers and have also been made public in GRM... I don't think the porsche thing will fly, not that im against them, its just there arn't as many porsche around and they are rather expensive to maintain...

I hope something works out though...

 

damn you and your opinions... i've actually got a list of about two dozen people from the Porsche Club of America that are interested. We're just looking to combine the two for each's benefit, not start a new group for 944 drivers. i don't wanna ever hear that porsche owners are snobby cause we're the ones gettin snubbed by you honda track drivers.
