Endyn Fluidamper Views/Thoughts
I randomly went to endyn's website and saw this and never saw it before. how does this compare to the other dampers like ati? is anyone running this?

"Fluidampr has long been considered to have the best solution for dampening wide-range crank harmonics by the best engine builders in the business. We have worked closely with the personnel at Fluidampr over the past year to develop what we believe is the best crank damper available for the Honda B series engines."
- from Endyn
Retail price is $409.38
Price to our customers is $348.00

Thanks Jim! I think I know which damper I am getting now and also what machine shop I am using too!
Also I ran into the damper earlieron here!

I have one. IMHO, I feel that this is oneo of those things people should have. Vibrations kills engines period and this will prevent it. Here are pics of mine with the crank trigger I made for my hall effect sensors.
You can thank Larry at Endyn and Fred at Fluidamper for these things.

Which size is needed from that page for a B series?

The fluidamper is coming out with one that has AC, PS and alt.

And of course,we always have to wait for stuff for the H22A to come out later on down the road
Any ideas when the h22 version will be available??...and will it fit in a h22 civic???

While you are on your 3rd set of bearings I'll be on my 1st set.
Here is a pic of a 750hp GSR OEM bearings. This had over 30 1/4 mile runs and a lot of dyno runs too. This with all the fluidamper. If you look real good you can see the bearings look perfect. We took apart the engine to see what they engine looked like after all the abuse we gave it. Here are the results.

im not doggin the product at all art. ive only built 1 engine, my own and i bet my motor has over 100+ runs on it and its still ticking. for me in my experience my CTR crank pulley works just fine. the motor has been in my car for 2 full seasons now without even an inspection of the bearings. first time at the 1/4 mile it ran 12.15 and my last event at a 1/4 mile track it ran 12.15. im all motor not FI, im just stating my personal experience.

A well dampened crank installed in a correctly line-honed block using Honda bearings at exactly .0015" clearance and 05-30 oil will look like that every time. Taking care of details can allow you to run hard without carnage.....

I know, I was being sarcastic, but thanks for the tip, I didn't know it had to be that exactly on spec.

rev easier? I was under the impression these were not lighter than the OEM pieces and in some cases, heavier.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Hence why he said 'easier' not 'faster'... With a good harmonic balance an engine runs smoother and makes revs easier...
