Default the stock oil pan on the EJ's

Changing my oil last time, as I got the plug out I noticed that some of the aluminum from the pan had stripped out and is in the bolt. I ended up having a friend take me to a local shop and picked up a new bolt for the pan. What I am afraid of is the next time I go and change my oil, even more will have been stripped out. I didnt torque it that much, so perhaps things could change. Sad thing is, the damage is done. How much would it cost me to have someone rebore the pan?

It'd be cheaper just to pick up a used Oil pan.

Also, are you sure it is the threads that are stripping?

I'd just buy a new pan then.
