Spoon 2.0 liter specs!
What are the bore and stroke measurements for the Spoon 2.0 liter motor? Would this be the same bore and stroke measurements which are included in their stroker kit?

Spoon made the motors with a rod ratio right around 1.54:1, that's why they could only rev around 7,000 safely.
Actually the Spoon engines are still around just depends on who you talk too. Also Spoon says the engine is not ment to rev beyond 7800rpms as thats when it makes it peak HP. So your rev limitor would have to be set at 8K. Folks that think they can rev this engines like norm ITR engine will blow it soon after.
If you want 2.0 litre engine you can rev normally just get the 250hp 2.0 litre bored Feels twin cam engine...though you will pay nice price for them..as you can send your engine to them but shipping it there will normally put most people off...as it's normally cheaper to buy a new or used B18C and have to work done and then sent back state side. Toda and Jun and Tomei and Mines does this work as well...but it's not cheap..best thing to do is buy the motor there and get all the work done and have it shipped on boat back to the states.

most of the Japanese tuners use 94mm cranks for their 2.0liter B-series engines because this is the setup that has been used in FIA race cars for a while. A 94mm crank over here is cheaper than sleeving with big bore pistons. Espirit sells a 86mm bore x 94mm stroke engine that puts out 235hp for 740000jpy. The engine comes with a pre-programmed HKS F-CON S and adapter harness.
I would love to know how much is it for let say TODA or Spoon to do a P&P and balance and blue print job on a TypeR engine. Racer-X, you have any idea?
So are you asking about get brand new engine blue printed and balanced and also P&P? Or are you wanting to send your block in for P&P and get your rods, pistions and crank balanced and blue printed? Pricing would be different for both just becuase of shipping of your engine or part of your engine to them overseas. Probably the best way would just either buy a new engine overseas and then have the work done by that specific company.
