IS JDM P72 GSR ECU Compatible w/H22A
What up people's you know I am going to ask mad questions
to get all the information I can!!!
Since I am having
trouble getting my P13 Manual OBD1 ecu to work with my car,
will the OBD2 P72 ECU from a 96 GSR work with my car.
According to Hondata's site it should but I was wondering
if any one on our forum has tried this?

I think the general answer is yes. With the US GSR P72 I've heard you gain good stuff on the top end, but the motor falls flat at the xover. If i could afford the downtime and other parts (HONDATA), i'd trade my P13 for a P72.
don't use the stock p72 with an h22...the fuel maps are way off and like what was mentioned earlier, it doesn't have much midrange power...
i am currently using a p28 with a custom burned chip and am very happy with the results...

only use it if you reprogram it, otherwise what sense does it make to use a program meant for a smaller and different engine....??? theres a reason it came on a gs-r and not a prelude, plus with hondata, i believe it has to be obd I

Why the P28? Got a single runner intake?
I'm trying to decide between a P28 or P72.

i had a p72 in my h22 first, everything everyone else is saying is true. i have a vtec controller and had vtec set at 4600, when it went over into vtec i could hear it but not feel it, but after say 5900 it was game time, pulled hard as hell. I now have a p13 and i dont get that lag in the middle, but it doesnt feel as strong on the top end.
What's up 4doorH22 I am also in the MD area and definatly want to hit up VIR one day. How much was it that day to do what you got to do? More importantly, where did you order that Radiator from and how much it run you? They say these H22 motors run hot, so I wanna try everything to keep my baby cool

Oh, first, to clarify, I definitely would not use a stock P72 as a permanent solution, it'll just work as a band aid until you can get your P13 figured out or modified P72.
As for driving school weekends, they are expensive enough that I haven't done one in two years (since I stopped using credit cards and pay cash for everything). I think an average driving school weekend costs about $300 for the track time and classroom instruction, but when you factor in gas, hotel, food, brakes ($130 track brakes last about 10 days) you really should budget at least $500 for a track weekend. You'll find lots of driving school info in the Autocross/Road Race board.
As for the radiator, I got it at http://www.absoluteradiator.com
It's a Koyo, probably better prices out there, but I've had great customer service with them (like they'd send me free drain plugs and washers before I realized it's a standardized size I could get at any auto store). The motor never ran hot with the stock Accord radiator, but when my stock one started leaking, I decided to go with the biggest one I could find (and threw in colder thermostat and fan switch too).

okay well i got a 94 del sol with an JDM h22a swap..i just bought a p72 (usdm) so my check engine light turns off for emmisions since i am not running an egr in the car...but also i got it for performance...if i get it dyno-tuned with the p72 in it wouldnt that solve the problem of the flat curve that happens at 4,500, and then wouldnt i not need to get a hondata then? but if i have to get a hondata do i have to get some kind of all system or is their a chip that they make that i can just get and put in the gsr ecu.
