I know that there is a motorcycle/kart track in or around Gainesville, but otherwise, Roebling Road in Savannah is the closest road course besides Daytona.

Dont forget something to work on your spelling skills too

If you just want to get out and have some fun, autocross is great. Look for the "scca region locator" link in this forum's FAQ.

bring a safe car with no un-attached parts and yourself. You will need 1/4 tank of gas, 25$ for entry fee, an umbrella (for rain or brutal sunshine), some snacks and drinks, and an airtank/compressor if you have one. If you really want some lessons prior to an event, we will be having a school on the 20th (saturday) prior to the 21st event. You will get some seat time with instructors and get to work on car setup also.

The buccaneer region is hosting a driver school on March 20. You should go check it out.
