Maybe this forum will help me?
I've done my searches and i found some stuff, so i have a broad idea on what to do. but now i'm hoping for a little more specific stuff for my accord. I'm goin to the track friday and friend of mine is still talking **** after i beat him on the street in his 86 camaro with a 305. so I finally want to shut him up plus someone is setting up another race with a guy with another accord exactly like mine except he had an intake, headers and exhaust. My car is completely stock so help me out guys.
So i need to know:
How to launch
What octane gas should I use
what rpms to launch
the right time to shift
limit wheelspin
all the basics i guess is what i need. all what would be some good/decent times in the 1/4 and 60ft. with a stock accord?

I'll do my best, although I'm semi n00b:
1. As far as octane, it is a big debate as to what to use. Try http://www.howstuffworks.com for that.
2. I think you are supposed to launch around 3000-3500 rpms
3. I believe the best time to shift is right around 5k.
4. The best thing for this is to to work on your launch technique, I've also heard that urethane suspension bushings can prevent wheel hop.
5. Can't help you here...Haven't been to the track...yet ;-)
