Alright, I have a 99 civic ex (d16y8) an I was wondering what parts are needed for the MSD ignition system. I know I'm going to need cap, coil, wires, but what else? Also, will this help mpg like some say or fix my low idle shake? Thanks in advance!

I dont know what you need msd, many people have problems with them on hondas; blowing ignitors and melting wires...
Stock ignition system is plenty good unless turbo+lots of boost.

What you sayd is all you gonna need + maybe some connectors for the coil and signal wires inside the dizzy.
And no i dont think it will fix your low rpm shake...shake?like?
And gas mileage....mmm dont think so either
