crx hf throwing code 6
anyone know of a site that illustrates one of a crx hf wiring diagram? my friend has a 88 crx hf with a b16 and every time he puts it in reverse tthe car throws a cel. I read somewhere on here that you had to unplug the pin b-9 from the hf ecu wiring harness. We had it apart tonight and was checking out the pins. Theres a b16 computer in it and from three main hook ups on the box itself. I would guess that one of those is the older hf wiring harness but I cant exactly determine what wire it is. From what I also read the wire is supposed to be green and black. I found two green and black wires but from I heard someone else did the wiring and Im not sure if they matched the wires accordlily or not. Just a good illustration of the harness and how these are labeled would really help.
Here is the CRX manual. It's in a PDF file. This is the UK one but I use it all the time.

code 6 is coolant temperature sensor - the HF does have a green/black wire at ECU pin B9 for the back-up light switch, however, the PR3-PW0 ECU does not read anything from this pin - shouldn't have anything to do with the CEL - disconnecting B9 won't hurt anything, but won't get rid of the code 6 - you need to look to the Coolant Temperature Sensor on the head just below the distributor (has 2 wire connector) for the cause of the CEL
