Has anyone had this brake problem?
I have a 99 Integra, quite often I will be driving and both ft brake calipers will drag and the brake petal will get hard. I took the right side caliper off and it looked good, I compressed it and it went in fine. I took the left side off and it looked good but when I went to compress it in it would not go in. If I opened the bleader it would go in fine. I took the piston out of the caliper and everything looked ok. Both slide pins are fine.
My friend said that it could still be the caliper, I think its the master cylinder. I just dont want to buy the parts I dont need if I dont have to.
Has anyone had experience with this before.

could be a bas flex line too. If the rubber swells inside it will hold pressure as evidenced by it compressing when you open the bleeder.
If you opened the bleeder and compressed the brake piston then you've just sucked in a bunch of air, now you'll have to bleed the brake system.
Sounds like a bad brake hose. Have you ever blocked off the rubber line by crimping it with a set of pliers? That will damage the inner nylon of the hose and cause it to fail.
opening the bleader and pushing the piston back in causes fluid to go out, not air to come in. After I did this I still bled the system.
What are the chances of both break lines going bad at the same time? (its possible) but if one was bad will it still cause both calipers to hand up?

One caliper will not go in with out the bleeder open, but BOTH calipers are hanging up.
Thats why I think its the master cylinder?
I just want to get other peoples view before I change it

The only 'hangup' that has anything to do with the hydraulic system is when the piston won't go back in. The other one probably has stuck/dirty/bent caliper slide pins or maybe the brake pads are wedged too tight into the caliper bracket. Those aren't hydraulic problems.
One other possibility is that the MC has leaked into the Brake booster. If there is brake fluid in the booster its booster replacement time.
