Ok I have the freakin squek which is really pissing me off, its not a dash squek it sounds like something is rubbing against something else.
Ok the sound comes whenever I start the car along with a clunk from that same area, it also squeks when i turn the car off, it seems to happen when i give the car gas or when the engine moves, or flexes. It does not happen when i hit bumps, only when i give it some gas or even push the clutch in. Before I used to be able to make the squek intensify in pitch by pressing the throttle gently. And no it doesn't squek when the car is off and i play with the throttle, SO i think its something attached to the firewall.
Its coming from the passenger side dash area. Does anyone have any pictures or know any links or anything on how to pull apart the lower or upper dash.
Any opinions or advce would be appreciated, this noise is majorly annoying

Good luck trying to pull it apart. You're going to have to pretty much take everything off including the sectiosn around/below the radio. It's a bitch but once you start unscrewing things they just start to come off. Should take about half an hour max to get it all off.
Honestly I'd say don't do it. I've been noticing a lot of squeaks and stuff in my car (6th gen) but I just attribute it to wear and tear and not let it bother me. <shrug> Might be different for you though. Good luck.

me too, Im hearing squeeky noise inside the dash passenger side and the door behind the driver side. I heard these squishing noise whenever I brake or accelerate. At first I thought it was the coilovers but it cant be..the sound IS NOT coming from the strut tower area. the sounds is inside the car.
