Damn you Radiator.com
whats up gentlemen, well about 2k miles ago, i replaced my stock radiator due to a leak in the crimping along the plastic tanks. Tonight, i was driving home from work and caught a whiff of antifreeze, so when i got home i decided to check it out. Turns out that my shitty CSF(or CFS i cant remember) radiator took a dump on me, and it began leaking all along the bottom tank. This pisses me off to no end because the warranty is voided if you install it yourself, and i spent $175 on this worthless crap that lasted me a few months. Anyways just trying to give a heads up to anyone who is in the radiator market....do not get the "OEM style" replacement from radiator.com...or any CSF radiator for that matter.
P.S. if any of you stunnas are trying to get rid of a gently used, all-aluminum radiator please let me know

i bought my radiator from them and it came damaged during shipping. Definitely not their fault. I called radiator.com and got an RMA. I packed and sent everything back but never had my money credited back to my account.
I pursued it for a few weeks and just gave up.
I would never recommend nor deal with them again. $175 down the tubes.

radiators.com, radiatorbarn.com all those places give **** radiators for an expensive price. They never give refunds either, i know, i also persued it.
It's better just to find an OEM radiator than to ever go with their POS radiators
Just by looking at them, the quality isnt there

i dont really have the loot for a genuine OEM replacement....i was looking at the all aluminum ones on radiatorbarn.com(170$ shipped), anyone have experience with these....anyone else know where i can find a quality one of these badboys?
i bought an aluminum one from radiatorbarn.com, it is ****, it says all aluminum but its the cheapest radiator you will see in your life. It is spray painted black to cover up the nasty metal they use. And they don't offer refunds or care to reply to emails, or take you seriously over the phone when you try to return a radiator.
Also, they don't fit good at all.
i would find a used OEM replacement and clean it up, it will probably last just as long or longer than the "all aluminum" radiators that the internet sites sell.

those of you that didn't get refunds.. did you pay with a credit card? if so, why not contact your credit card company and let them know what's happening?
i hate to see these guys getting away with such ****..

koyo is an actual brand, not radiator.com's shitty excuse for a brand...and you shouldnt pay someone that much(or at all) to put in a radiator, thats ridiculous

You paid way too much for your install. Even for a beginner, a radiator/ coolant/ thermo change shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Also $60 for hose and clamps is insanely high. On top of that, a thermostat shouldnt be moer than $5.

Yep, while expensive (got a good price at absoluteradiator.com though), my Fluidyne has been great as far as quality and performance (which is important here in Arizona). No cheap plastic tanks or any crap like that to break. Just make sure to use teflon tape when installing the brass fittings, as the directions say; I didn't and it leaked until I did it right.

You paid someone $123 to install a radiator? Holy crap, that's one of the easiest things to replace on a car. Do you pay people to pump gas for you too? Maybe you should pay someone to drive you around as well.

Next time try Autozone or similar local place. A bit higher that those mailorder shops but no warranty hassle.
Avoid the crimped OEM style rads... they all will eventually leak at the crimp..3, 4 or even 5 years down the road. Read the archives. Opt for the brazed copper/brass radiators. It's a much more robust design.
