I used Plastikote paint... forgot the exact color. It came out OK. Not the gold that I wanted exactly but it's ok

 

Photo doesnt do them justice.

Colour is based on a renault shade (more gun metally), then gold/bronze was added until I liked it. Clear coated finish.

Some kid on this board has an eg sedan with Si wheels sprayed gold, but I can't remember his user name.

here are my rims that i painted.... i used plasti-kote engine enamel universal gold

 

Not that great of pics because the sun was setting, putting too much glare on the wheels and making them look like there's mad overspray on them (which there was not). We still have the wheels, but got rid of the car.
