does anyone know any way to remove wrinkles from JDM Suede Recaros?

My seats are great condition, just wish I could remove those ugly wrinkles, maybe use an Iron to iron them out???

any suggestions.

i'd like to know also. alcantra is nice material, but it will wrinkle.

 

You're not going to make them go away completely. Use soap and water it will make them less noticeable.

 

soap and water should work but steam is prob best. my dad owns a dry cleaners and we use steam to get wrinkles out of everything. i'm not sure about suede and leather (close to alcantra) though, i'll ask my dad and get back to you

get them re-wrapped haha j/p. i would also like to know, got some beat up recaros id like to fix.

 

There isn't much you can do but steam cleaning might make it nicer.

 

I was told you can steam the seats with a wand from the under side. Not sure if it would destroy the foam or not.

 

You can buy new foam bolsters you should be able to get them direct from Recaro.

You can replace the foam which will then stretch the Alcantara making the wrinkles alot less noticable. Last time it was posted these bolsters where only about £10 ($20) think i'll be getting me some.
