ADJ CAM GEARS: Which ones to buy? (skunk vs GE)
Im shopping for cam gears right now and I wouldnt mind buying some used.....I have a deal for $135 shipped for a pair of skunks's (6 bolt pattern)
My buddy called the in town performan...i mean Ricer City (lol) and they said out of all the cam gears; GE cam gears are the best to buy because they are more precise when tuning; Is this true?
Im turboing the block these are going on and tuning is the key right! are the skunks good enough for this price? Are they going to get the job done; or do i need some ge or others for over 200 for a pair?
(Please when relpying state wether you have delt with the cam gears first hand or if its hear say
)

$34 is an oil change. The difference is inconsequential when you're talking aggressive cams with pistons, a built block, etc.

The pricing is for the pair, and it's quite a bit cheaper than repairing the results of valve/piston contact. ST Corsa's are the only adjustable sprockets I'll use (and recommend).
Edit: Plus, they're new, not used.

sorry for the confusion, I know the pricier JDM gears are like $300 a pair, so I can see where you saw that.
