Turned on the car, check engine light came up, so I took a look at the ecu. Was a solid red light... no flashing. Restarted the car and everything was fine (engine light and solid ecu flash went away). Did the ecu just have a brain fart? Anyone know what a solid flash means?

 

you said that you started the car and there was a solid flash?? If so, you did it wrong the car has to be in the on position, not crunk

 

It was most likely being stoopid.... I wouldn't worry much now. Wait til it happens again....
