my friend is swapping a d16a1 motor in to his car i believe it came out of a 90-93 integra ls?? from what i been reading well anyways this is going to a 90 civic dx what does he need to basically plug and play please help about motor mounts issue ecu and all that stuff let me know asap who ever can answer this gets a pat in the back

 

90-93 LS motor is the b18a1

It will also need a lot of work. Unless it is obd0.

EEEK! Those are a COMPLETE PAIN to install.. you have to do some custom fabrication. that motor is out of a 87-89 teg. PRAY he got the 88-89 cuz the other ones are vac advance dizzy's and thats not easy, if its even possible. In my opinion sell it. get a TRUE DOHC ZC, cuz those drop right on in.

the gen 1 integra engine isn't going to work without a load of work; sell it and get a ZC.

yah i been reading alot about how it wont drop in and all that bullshit oh well i mean its really his problem now just need to forward him the info thanks guys
