$200 what to do what to do?
road racing. not quarter mile. do you think I should be able to get everything for a mpfi conversion for under $200? the reason why I dont want to get rid of this motor is because it has under 100,000 miles and runs strong as hell. thanks

Everyone has their own opinions on what they would spend. And for a stock car, and only $200 that really aint going to do you to much except for the basic maintanence that had been stated. Really what you should be doing is thinking what you need the most first, and then start researching. The "Search" button is your best friend here, if you need to look something up. Anywayz good luck!
Id do a tune-up(regardless if it runs strong most likely plugs/wires/fuel filter/air filter pcv) are extremely old and beat up.
that is if it hasnt had a new one done. Shake down the front end and look for bad tie rods very common with our cars, that will set you back about 100-120 depending where you go on completely brand new inner's and outer's plus then chip in prob. 50-70 bucks for an alignment.
Or if the tie rods are okay by Energy Suspensions complete master kit for your car and do your front brakes and if they arent bad just clean and adjust your rears. Your car will stop as well as it handles for pretty cheap. then you can look at lowering it later.....with the right amount of money adn time invested.

Seriously? If this is true, you're better off spending the money on seat time. If you're going to race this car and you would rather buy parts, start replacing old bushings, bearings, brake parts, etc. That will pay off later. Also, if you're wondering where to spend $200 in the first place, I would serisouly reconsider your road racing budget.

If all is ok maintenance wise, stainless brakelines. Best and biggest improvement you can make. And with what's leftover overhaul your rear drums if they need it, as they play a large roll in pedal height. If not, then look into picking up a set of good front brake pads

Road Racing or Street racing?
If you meant Road Racing (as in on a profesional course), then listen to Travis above.
If you meant Street Racing (as in illegal and stupid), then spend the $200 on getting your head examined.
Sorry, had to rant..... carry on.
