D16A6 Timing belt question
How many teeth does the timing belt of a D16A6 has? I need to know, because I'm having some trouble locating one, because my CRX was never officially sold in here, and people doesn't know which car it is.
I need to know the number of teeths to see if I can find a timing belt that fits. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible for you to order from an online supplier here in the US. Contact either the Majestic Honda or Manchester Honda websites. I'm sure they can ship you one. The part number should be available from someone here or at the supplier sites. Good luck to you
I had thought about that option, but I think it would escalate costs too much. Our local currency is very devaluated in comparision to the dollar, and add shipping fees, and all that...
But thanks anyway.
Does anyone know the number of teeths? I just need that and I will be all set.

They officially sold only EG Sedans, Si trim, D16A9 (ZC) engine. DOHC non-vtec. The only others Civics sold here with a SOHC no-vtec engine are the 6th gen sedans with a D16Y9.
But other Civics (hatchs and coupes) are much more abundant that EF's. You think the timing belt from another Civic engine could work? If so, which engine or car?

I searched in Majestic Honda website, and found this:
CRX SI 88:
Part #: 83244
Description: BELT (107R24 A-555)
I think that the 107 represents the number of teeths. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
