People running testpipes....
Ok i've been running my testpipe for about a month now. I recently noticed my bumper getting black, from i guess black smoke? Is this happening happening to you guys? Is running rich, burning oil, or is just no cat? I only noticed it after the testpipe went in so im guessing no cat, but just want to make sure.
Thanks in advance.

yes..running a test pipe will do this............my car is white, so my rear bumper has been turning a shade of brown aka championchip white! LOL....but seriously, get a clay bar and rub it down...it will be like new again..
i rebuilt my motor recently and i "spruced" up my stock exhaust, repainted the canister black, re polished the tip a little bit. And i was running a cat for about 2 months... looked perfect... put a test pipe on it (still had stock exhaust) and the tip became nearly 100% black after bout 2200 miles and the rear bumper has a good amount of "soot" on it.

its cause of the testpipe, also might want to check your fuel.. might be a tad rich.. but id just wash the bumper and if you can, adjust your tip where its not right on the bumper, that might help
