Anyone using a GSR ecu in their H22a?
I don't even know if that would work. Cause you are tranferring a computer used for a B18 motor to a H22 motor. If it did work, it wouldn't work as good
I will dyno my car next tuesday, but need a obd 1 GS-R ecu to swap.. My car only has I/H/E and would be a great baseline for a dyno...
I hope to see good gains, I can swap ECU's for the honda-challenge and be legal.. Good way to get some HP..

If you don't have race rule issue like Honda318dx, you'd be better off getting your OBD I ECU reprogrammed or getting the GSR ECU and getting it reprogramed for your setup.
The Dyno on Import Review shows a decent peak gain, but everywhere else, sucks. You also have no idea what the air/fuel ratio is at that peak horsepower; it maybe on the ragged edge of leaning out.

The B18c ecu will work.. but the main reason you get such a steep curve is b/c of the cam size of the h22 versus the cam size of the gsr. yeah the peak hp of the GSR is higher but overall tiny gain versus the complete power band of the P13 ecu I think is more beneficial w/ the P13 unless you're using something like hondata
is it really worth losing 30 ft/lbs at 4500 rpm?
i threw one in my car for ***** 'n giggles, and the car felt very very slow. no torque, even in dragging the car- the vtec switchover was totally transparent, too.

93 civic si h22a using p13 it works but its to lean and i already have fpr and vafc
fpr is on 60psi and still to lean and it was pinning so i change it w/ stock p72 it works great, and i hope dis will help u out

Hey Guys:
I had a P72 intsalled today to see how it would function compared to the P13. Honestly speaking, i must say that the P72 works extremely well! Awesome performance! I am going to make the P72 a permanent fixture on my H22a swap. Selling my P13.

if you have a hondata chiped ecu why does it matter ???
fyi i have h22a in accord w/gsr chiped and have tried the lude p13 as well as a
spoon chiped lude ecu. what a waste of time, it felt more like a f22 then an h22
gsr works great IF it is chiped. well better then the spoon even.....

Yeah, I do have the GSR ECU in my car. The motor is a 97 H22A4. I can not say what the dyno difference is, but I can tell you that I have raced identical Accords with the same swap, except for the ECU, and have walked away. However, my ECU is reprogrammed by HASprot, so the fuel problems that importreview had, at 4500 rpm have been fixed.
