Default p28 ecu problem

i have just converted my 99 dx/vtec (y8 head) to obd I p28 then car does not idle when cold its hard to start and timming seems to retard it self for no reason this is not all the time but often why can this be?!?!

The DX IACV is 3 wire, did you rewire? Also, which injectors did you use?

yes i have done the re-wiring for the two wires configuration (ex iacv) injectors are my stock d16y7 ones, im almost sure they are all the same cc's thanks

No, the D16y7 came with 180cc injectors...

where can I get more information on this i have heard from alot of people that all d series and even b series injectors are the same cc's any body knows this? thanks

For OBD1 D series and B series are the same... NOT for OBD2... DX/LX/CX/HX are 180s... EX D16Y8 and B series are 240s...

can anybody tell me where to double check this? but either way if in fact the injectors are not 240cc will that be the cause of it not to iddle right? when i had my obd II ecu (ex P2P) i was getting code 45 CEL (too rich or too lean) can this be why? thanks alot for your help

That's definitely why you were getting the code and would explain the idle problems... You can check injector sizes on the ACCEL website... They have a spreadsheet with stock injector sizes if you look around...
