there may be a couple of loose components in your door. take your passenger side door panel off and tighten any bolts you see loose.
if its cold when this happens. most likely some flex in the chassis or where the panels meet up. you're putting stress on the part rattling when you go over a bump.
my car does that when its been sitting in the cold forever, but it goes away after a little bit.
also...bushings can be an issue.

i think it is just an issue of it being cold. nothing worth dealing with. one problem may lead to the next. if its the door, apply some lithium grease to the hinges. but, you would know its the door when you open or close it.
again, it could also be suspension bushings, those tend to get brittle in cold. but, that would be more less of a creaking than a noise that is hard to describe.

doubt its a moving part. it creaks, doesn't click...its something that is being stressed. most likely temp is causing it or making it more noticeable.
unwanted noises i think are the worst possible problems to have... since its so hard to find and fix, and even harder to explain the problem to others!
it could very well be the door itself. my driver side door creaks on the rare occasion, and i'm pretty sure its just the door panel or hinge isn't at tight as it used to be when the car was new. my car is a 1994 though.. hth
