you have to drop the tank

 

unhook the lines by the drivers rear tire first.. they are under a plastic cover..

or else they will break like mine

Good advice!!

Also, do this in a VERY well ventilated area. I remember being hungover and having to drop my gas tank. Not a fun day at all.

 

i imagine you guys are taling about the rear driverside tire.?

 

thanks for the advice, I now have to siphon out 8 gallons of gas....BRB

 

just use the drain plug if it opens or else do it with gas in and put a jack under the tank... simple..

I hate dropping the gas tank...can never get those rubber lines off and on without some bloody knuckles!!!
