Lately when I am driving my car seems to want to bog down and not give me full rpms when i am giving it throttle...not excess amounts but just to speed up. About two weeks ago I was driving and it started doing it. I popped the hood and one plug wire had fallen off the distributor. I replaced all my plug wires and plugs the next day. It was better but still wasn't running very smooth. Its been parked for the last while here and i took it out last night and it is doing it still..maybe even worse now. I am starting to think that my fuel filter is to blame....any thoughts or input on that??

 

it could be a lot of things. u could have a clogged fuel injector, dirty fuel filter, water in ure gas tank, a bad ground etc. my friend had the same problem on his b16a crx. his problem was there was a sensor not compltly plugged in and being that it wasnt plugged in all the way, moisture got in bettween the connections. and when the moisture wasnt there it would bog but when it was the car would run fine. we eventually found the sensor not plugged in correctly, plugged it back in all the way and everything went fine.

 

It could also be dirty valves
