Default crx motor swap

ok guys im new here. this is my first import and i have to say it was fun for the first 3 days befor the motor blew. i have an 89 honda civic crx si. I had the 1.6 si in there befor i blew it. now i need an ideal in a new motor. i really want an ls motor.a friend of mine is selling me a 93 integra for 400. it has alot of body damage but the motor tranny run great it doesnt smoke and its reall strong. my question for you is what will i need for this conversion. i have the whole integra will i need new motor mounts or what. thanks for all your help cause i need it

Welcome to Honda-Tech

now go do a search! you can find tons of information by learning to use the search function. almost anything you can think of has been talked about on here. the archive is a great resource for information if you know how to use it.

thanks for the advice apparently i need motor mounts and what not but now i have another question that i couldnt find the answer too. another friend of mine has a 1.5 liter vtech from likea 93 civic but i was wondering if my tanny would bolt up to that and how easie would that be being that it is still a d series motor

as far as i know yeah u can do the d ser. thing but u will need to wire in stuff like vtec and other things i would do the ls if u are going to spend the time or put a b16 in the car that really makes the crx a new car.
