now i will be ruinning a VAFC for tuning until i get hondata later on this summer. i was wondering, istead of going out an spending 200-400$ on some RC injectors, can i just buy a set of DSM 450's and lean them out to what i need using my VAFC? probably a dumb question but i was just curious, I can get 450 DSM injectors for $50 compared to roughly 200$ for some RC 310's. is it possible to use them an lean them out to what i will need once im on the dyno? my car is an 89 crx that had a b16 in it so everything is wired up fine, still have the injector resistor box. thanks for the input

 

I run prelude 280 injectors with that setup (cams are Sk2 S2). Have you throught about 310cc from the newer Celica ? You can probably get those fairly cheap form Celica boards.

 

hmm interesting. well im staying obdo for now. can i use the celica injectors then? prob not. what numbers are you putting out with your setup?

yes you can use the 450cc DSM injectors with the VAFC to lean them out, make sure you tune it on a dyno for better results tho'... and also, by going to the 450cc, you dont have to add the wires to the resistor box because you are obd 0.. if your really that concerned, just try the 92-96 prelude VTEC inj (345ishcc)... i hope that helps..
