Default Automatic CRX Motor Swap

Hello,

I have a simple swap question.

I am wondering if I can easily swap an automatic 1990 Integra LS motor and tranny into my 1990 CRX.

Please don't ask why automatic or attempt to persuade me to sell my car or swap to manual because these are not options.

Thanks for any help provided.

is the car your swapping the motor into automatic? if so fairly easy.
but you still need b series mounts, linkage, etc , etc.

Hey,

Yes, the car that I am swapping it into is automatic.

Is it a relatively easy swap?

What all will I need?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Yeah, I definitely need to know. I am ready to get started on this swap but need to have all of my questions answered first.

oh my good the MISInformation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

DIFFERENT Mounts for MT/AT B Series as for D Series as well!!!!

the A/T Of the B Series is Physically BIGGER

it will require custom Mounts and cutting and welding

Thats just to get the Engine/Tranny in the car....

Now to get it to run you can either experiment with all the solenoids on the B series A/T Tranny and get it to work somehow like that or you can wire up the Tranny computer(probably what youll need for it to work right)

Overall this swap is a PITA and not worth it for most people.....

I would just save the trouble and get a ZC or SOHC Vtec

I live in Cali and I will not pass smog with a JDM motor so that is not an option.

Is there a simpler swap that I can do to the automatic that isn't expensive?

I just want my car to be able to get out of its own way. Nothing too major.

Thanks a lot!
