can someone tell me how to install a v2 cai on a 02 civic si? do i need cutting, relocating and such?

 

aem v2 is not a classic cai and doesn't require any cutting. just remove the stock airbox and bracket and put in the v2... the only problem you might have is if you have a strut tower bar - but that would only cause you to twist things around while installing. no big deal.

mine works great - but the gains are up top. i don't know if i lost any down low but i don't think i gained any down there. i'm going to dyno and see.

That might help. It's basically the same install except you don't have to relocate the fuse box. And it's actually easier since it's a short ram intake.
