nicest looking and brightest low beam headlights
whoever is happy with their low beam headlights becuase they look rad or are very bright post what you have. NO HID conversions. i had a pair of the purple EUROLIGHTS cause they were cheap and looked cool in the box but they suck so just a heads up for all of you. i think im going to try a pair of CATZ next...
I am running PIAA extreme whites and i think they look really good. They are almost pure white, with barely any blue. I also like the PIAA Plasmas. Without going hid, i think PIAA would be your best bet.

i've seen alot bad experiences with using 9005's in the lows. Seeing as the bulb is normally a high beam application. they dont generally last too long from what i experience with them. Some have said they last for a long time while some say they went out with in a few days <shrugs> i've since switched to hid's with a e46 bixenon retrofit comming shortly.
i've heard bad things about 9005 conversions in general.. but nothing bad about silverstars as of yet. and also, if they're blowing in a few days, i imagine they may have touched the bulb prior to installation... oil from our skin is bad for halogen bulbs.

it really depends on how much nighttime driving you do.
here in washington it is only light for like 8 hours a day during the fall and winter months, so i tend to have them on quite a bit.
they are better looking then stock, but expensive when they burn out all the time.

I had those PIAA's also. They are a great bulb, but I think the Raybrigs I have now smoke 'em. Sorry don't have the model that they are handy right now.

ummmm crack lol...... i thought i remember the silverstars had some blue tinting on them...
they may look nice but i'm never to fond if a bulb burns out. Having seen friends go through this with their conversions. some last longer than others. depends on how your luck is. so in my opinion best bulbs would be oem ones for the fact they last the longest in my opinion

nope. silverstars have no tint on them. i believe the cool blues or w/e they're called had the tints (both by sylvania).
the silverstar 9006 (low) puts out a max of 1000 lumens at 60 watts.
the silverstar 9005 (high) puts out a max of 1700 lumens at 70 watts.
700 extra lumens at a cost of 10 watts... the teg can handle that.
