Default South NJ Region Novice School - Sunday March 7th.

I'm headed down to the South NJ Region Novice School on Sunday the 7th at Atco Raceway. Anyone interested in going? No pre-registration is required. It's $25 for SCCA members and $30 for non-members.

http://www.sjr-scca.org/soloii/soloii.html

I was planning on leaving Lancaster around 6am from here since it's a 2 hour drive. I'm going to be instructing.

I will definitely be there if my car is out of the shop by then. (Some blind lady hit my passenger side door. ) CivicSiRacer:I've seen you run at events at Englishtown and I'm looking forward to learning some things from you.

Yeah someone decided to slam on their brakes infront of me. And most people know I do not tailgate (I was about 3 car lengths back). Tried to go around him but just got my driver's side fender.

Looking forward to meeting you too.

It's looking like I won't have my car back until Monday If possible, I'll try to ride up with someone else. I'm really sad about not having my car for this event, but I still have the rest of the season.

Did you show up? I was so busy instructing I really didn't get a chance to meet everyone.

I was out there. Had a blast, and learned a few things too.

Do you have the EBP Si with all the magnetics on it?

Yep that was me. Which one was you?

I couldn't see my times because people were standing infront of the timer at the finish line. Did you happen to see any of my times?

By the way I took over 250 pictures of the event. It will take me a few days to post them all.

Sweet. I'd like to see them. Will you be posting them on here, or elsewhere?

This is one of the few i took today.

NOPE! Never made out out. Unfortunately, my car is still being repaired. I guess it's worth the wait though. I'll see you around during the season and I'll be sure to introduce myself. Hope you had a good time! Can't wait to see the pics.

Here are some pictures to start you guys off:

http://www.imagestation.com/al...age=Y

And I just realized the pictures are in reverse order. But if you download your pics and play them in a slideshow you will see it's like a little movie
Some of the pics you can see a cone wobble and then in the next pic fall over

Now I only have 150 more pictures to go

No problem. Hope to see you at more events. I may not go to the South NJ region as often as I thought. Dealing with traffic coming back home was NUTS!

At 6am no one is on the road and 90 miles was 1.5 hours. Coming back I drove 95 miles and ended up taking me TOO LONG!!!

Then a BIGGER thank you for coming out. Yeah going anywhere near Philly was probably a bad thing. Sorry if I steered you in the wrong direction. There are other ways to go West, but none of them are necessarily direct or, for that matter, shorter.

Also thanks to all for being patient with SJ. The turn out was about double what we expected. Jumping in and out of cars all day was a blast, and I had the chance to briefly meet quite a few folks. I went to bed around 8:30 that night.

And if anyone saw me blow that tight corner in the afternoon, that was because of those bike racks on the top of the rex.

Glad you guys had a good time!... sorry I couldn't spend more "quality" time with the novices.

When Steve Ascraft mentioned you blowing that turn I said out loud "It was due to the top heaviness of your ski rack making your car top heavy" he laughed and announced it over the loud speaker

It was funny cause everyone at the same time said "DOH!" when you missed that turn.

My favorite student or should I say car was the 12 second EVO8 I got to drive with one hand steering and the other hand pointing out the window telling my student where I was looking while driving That was such a POWERFUL car!

Next time I think I may hook up with Route 1 and head on home that way. Route 1 to Route 896 and Route 741 home.

That's not a bad way to go. Hooking up with route 1 can be crazy sometimes though, but once you hit 896 you're all good....except for buggies going to your weekly sunday volleyball tournament. Which way did you take? I'm constantly going to York so I've experimented with every route imaginable. In fact I think i saw your car on the outskirts of lancaster on route 30 late sunday afternoon. I was headed to avondale for a bible study and passed your car. My fiance thought i was nuts b/c i recognized your car from e-town and the net......she thinks we're all car nuts....go figure.

Since I-76 always gets backed up after 3pm. I took Route 73 north (BAD IDEA!) to Route 30 to I-676 to I-76 to Route 30 (BAD IDEA!). To Route 202 to Route 30 (this part wasn't bad - it was going through Philly with all the traffic lights was bad).

I understand about being car nuts
