A kid at my school has a turbo off a 2.2L legacy motor and wanted to sell it with all the piping. Would the turbo/any of the piping fit on my 92 prelude S.

legacy as in a subaru???
meaning its a boxer engine, good look getting that turbo mani to bolt up!!
I kind of doubt that anything is going to be even close to direct fit due to a totally different engine configuration

what kind of turbo is it...ie t3 ...trim? it could be a good turbo. what size is the engine its coming off of? your going to need a manifold no matter what. depending on the turbo it may or may not need a adaptor plate to blot on to the mani.
You can bolt up about any turbo on any car(if there's room) The manifold(legacy) on the turbo your friend wants to sell you is NOT gonna fit, but the turbo will. Just make sure you make or buy a turbo manifold that uses the same flange as the Turbo.
Good luck

exactly, a turbo is a turbo, just make sure it is the right specs for what you want to do, i think both suby and saab use air research turbos.
