ALSO, how can u tell u have LSD?? is there a marking?

you can tell if it is lsd by taking out the axles...look through the hole they go into, if it is a straight hole to the other side, its lsd, if there is a little cylinder looking rod going through the middle, it isnt.

 

isnt there a way to tell by jackin up the front and spinning the tires?

 

If you free spin one wheel, then the opposite wheel should spin the opposite direction.

 

no, you must pull out both axles to see

to see if u have SIR 2

go outside look on your head, look above the #4 cylinder, you will see 4 circles the first circle should have a 9| and that what ever other number, signaling the year

mine is 9|0, meaning sir 1
my friends is a 9|2 meaning sir 2
anything 9|2 and up is i think sir 2, thats just the head thought, i dunno about the block

 

jack it up if you spin one tire the other should spin the same way...with non-lsd tranny the opposite tire will spin the other direction
