Default need help fixing vent controls on 90 integ

just wondering if anyone else has had thier vent selector switch break on them too its not broken on the front somewhere behind the dash. I just havent had time to take it apart yet been working too much

I assume you mean the push button selector on the LS/GS right? There is a fix, I have dont it. it WAS in the g2ic tips section. Basically what is causing the problem is that the solder pads for the buttons have come loose from repeated pushing. The hvac controller has to be removed and the pads resoldered.

no the lever that slides left to right to select where the air will come out defrost, top vents, lower vents etc. But your other tip makes sense might help for a friend with a crx since he has a push button selector. Oh and sorry i should have mentioned that it is a RS
