My rear wiper motor doesnt work on my hb, and i would like to remove the whole assembly, weld the hole closed and then proceed to paint etc...

what i am curious about is: Is there any way to fill the hole easier than welding/bondo etc...? a certain trim of hatch that doesnt have rear wiper? has anyone else done this before and how?

big washer and bolt... works on race cars!

 

im sure that would work, however (puts on flameretardant suit) i am removing the wiper for aesthetic reasons, aswell as the fact that it is broken
