1. Why do I get a funky noise if I'm coasting forward and while holding the clutch in put in it reverse, but then no noise if I'm coasting back with the clutch in, and put it in first? just curious.
2. Does "going easy on the engine" before its up to temp include not going to WOT?I know high revs are a no-no... but how about WOT while in low revs. Is that bad as well?

if your funky noise is more of a whine. The forward gears are helical? *correct me if i'm wrong* while the reverse is straight cut. That's why it's a little harder to get into at times and makes our cars sound like wind up toys in reverse. I'd say go easy on the car til it warms up.
