SRS light reset for the 94 model Accord
I did some research and found out that the 94 Accord has a different setup than the 95+ models. It does not haeve the MES connector that everyone uses to reset the light. Has anyone here reset their SRS light for the 94 Accord?
there is no way to reset it. there is a fault in your srs sytem and it will not go away until it is corrected. unfortuneately only the dealer has the capacity to find the fault and fix it because a special test harness is needed

Are you sure about this? I thought they were the same.

Heres the 94 SRS harness. It only has 3 clips on the left (no MES connector).

heres the 95 SRS harness. It has 4 clips on the left with MES connector.

What if i know what the fault is...how would i fix it?

well most problems with srs are electrical shorts some where. if you know where and you can repair the short or open in the circuit then the srs ecu will read it and turn off the light. however if you do not know the problem then I highly advise against trying to find the fault your self because even the slightest electircal current to the srs ecu will cause the air bags to deploy. This is why honda uses a test harness because it is much safer this way
