Hey guys, I need some help. I have a 90' Honda Accord DX 2.2 SOHC and I purchased a MSD SCI Ignition box (I already have denso iridium plugs and nology hotwires). However, the colored wiring on the car in the distributer is not as described in the Haynes repair book I have or in the wiring instructions that came with the MSD box. There are a couple of things I would like to get your input on.

-Should I get an external coil and if so what kind?
-How do I modify the distributer cap to push the wires through. There are 4 wires behind the rotor so is it a good idea to try to push the wires behind it. Who makes a modified cap to make this easier? (I haven't found one)
-Does anyone have a precedure on how to do this ignition upgrade?
-How can I tell which wires are for the oem ignition module and those that go to the coil and where is that coil located?

use theinstall instructions from MSD, they detailthe wire colors on how to install it to an internal coil honda.
mostpeople drill a hole in the side of the cap for the wires to go in.
