AC/heater air direction wont switch

AC/heater air direction wont switch
My friend just purchased a 93 ex coupe.
The ac/heater selections wont switch
when the buttons are pressed.
So he cannot switch between windshield,
regular, bi-level etc.
Anyone experience this. Could it be a fuse?

Most likely, the connections in your climate control are f`cked. This happened in my G2 Integra and I had to take apart my climate control unit and solder back together the connections. Works fine now.
