Default Spoon ventuli plate. Does it work?

I think you've gathered what my question is from the title.

So does anybody out there have any experience with them?

It gives a decent midrange bump for stock or mild B16a setups. Anything over mild and it becomes a restriction.

I had one on my '00 Civic Si motor.

And I also have one on my Si B16 motor. Running Type R cams and Type R / Portflow valvetrain, my motor starts to pull from 3000 until the 9100 rev limiter.
At no time in that range does it ever feel "out of breath". But I also have ITR IM, TB and JDM 4-1 header.
