ls w/ gsr tranny

i just put in my ls w/ a gsr tranny into my eg hatch this past weekend, i was wondering if any of you guys are cruising on the highway around 60mph at a 3200+ rpm??? is it normal for daily driving and do u think it could do any harm to the engine or something. its killin my gas haha

sounds about right. 80mph should be 4k. it will be fine, but yeah your gas mileage will suffer a little.

i have an EK with b18b1/gs-r tranny. i was doing about 4k @ 80 mph. i dont get 300+ miles per tank anymore. sucks.

whoa, thats weird cause on my b20 with a gsr tranny, I average like almost 340 plus. Maybe it has something to do with gas quality. I filled up at fastrip and it was the worst gas you can possibly get! Now I just go to chevron, mobil, shell etc etc.
