I am about to go to the dealership today to get a bottle of touch up paint. First off I have never bought touch up paint before, so how much is it going to cost? and my car is tahitian green, should I just go by that or do I need the color code?

Any comments on usage of touch up paint would be helpful, is there any spots on your eg where you guys used it the most, or some spots that it shouldnt be used at all?

 

just tell them the color at the dealership, my opinion on touch up paint is that is just doesn't look nearly as good as the original paint, but until you get up close it blends in.

 

usually they ask for the paint code, which is on the door jamb on the drivers side.

 

just give them the colour code, it should be around $5 for a small bottle

i usually wash my car, use the touch up paint, let the paint dry, then wax
