Default 96 DX Front brakes...

Hey, i searched around for this, but all i found was rear brake info. Are the front calipers and rotors on a 96 DX the same as the front calipers and rotors from a 96 EX? i would assume they were, just the rears are different, but i dont know. thanks guys.

NO, EX front brakes are always bigger then the DX/LX

ok, then in that case, is just the rotor diameter bigger? or is the caliper itself physically bigger? and ex brakes bold right up right? yea...

I think the overall diameter of the front discs are the same but there is more surface area and the calipers are larger on the ex brakes. I

If you find ex brakes for the same generation as your car they will bolt right up. Get the whole front hub assembly and brakes and they will go right in.

Ex brakes have different calipers, compare to the Dx brakes. they look totally different if you put them side by side. i'll take some pix 2mororw and let you see. im doing the Dx brake upgrade now.

yeap EX calipers are larger and nicer. You can't even paint the dx calipers coz it's too small.

I think the diameter of the EX rotors are 10.3" I could be wrong.

I think the EX have 10.2" and the DX have 9.5"

NO!, i tried it, being lazy and didnt want to remove the whole spindle. the HUBs, spindle, barings, are different.
