Ive been reading up, and should I just get ITR pistons because of the stroke and buy some lightened rods for LS block or what??? Will this still work, please tell me your suggestions and what would be the best setup. Thanks...

the itr pistons will work on the Ls block but you will have to use ls rods. the ls has a longer stroke then the itr.

Yep if u r doing an all-motor ls/vtec u can use the itr pistons or better yet some ctr pistons but u have to use the ls rods or some lighted b18b rods.

the ctr pistons have the same bore . all b series do except the B20. ctr's will give u alot more compression. more bang for the buck.

more detonation for the buck too. i think he needs to do some serious research before even thinking about using CTR's

Word... PCT (CTR) pistons will generate around a 12:1 compression ratio in an LS block. In one of my previous motors, I used PCT pistons, a B18A block with a GS-R P72 head-- that CR was around 12.98:1. I had to use 101octane gas in it in a daily basis. US PR3 or JDM P30 B16 pistons would be a good idea as well.

When I use the CTR pistons, If i was to use them, would I need to get better gas? I use premium or plus right now... And what Im going for is a High Comperession all motor, daily driver? How is that compression? Is that too high for a daily driver??? I want something high, but I can still use Premium if I have to or plus??? as gas? Please let me know. Thank you.

If you're gonna have a high compression motor, use Premium fuel ALWAYS. My stock b16a2 from the factory 10:2 compression, recommends Premium fuel. I would definitely do some more research on LS/VTEC buildups and find a reputable builder before starting..
