I got a buddy trying to sell me his crx for pretty cheap. Car runs fine from what I can see but he just doesnt need it anymore. I thought about snagging it and tryin to resell it on ebay or something like that. Any idea what the value might be?

It is a .....

91 CRX DX 1.5 auto
Body is not in great shape(has rust, dents,dings)
Has some stupid looking 5 star rims
Mileage is estimated at 150,000 (i havent looked or asked)

 

I wouldnt pay more then a few houndered but thats cause I can find lower mile clean ones for $1500 and less.
Whats he want?

Depending on how bad the body is I would probly nab it for 3 or less.

 

The intent is however, to sell it for profit........do you think this would be possible?

I dont need another car, so that is the only reason I'm considering this CRX

 

If you can clean it up a bit and maybe give it a tune up if it needs you could make some money.
I have picked up a couple of not so pretty cars with a few hours of body work, paint and some spare parts I have profited a ton.

 

He has done all the preventative maintenence stuff, all it needs is a battery i believe

 

Well if you have a good honda demand up there like we do jump on it and make a few bucks.
Unless its completely trashed for 300 you should be able to turn a profit.

 

since its a car you want to buy and sell and make a profit. I say get it clean it up..and do some body work to cover the rust and slap a single stage dupont paint on it. that should be cheap if you can paint and do bodywork should only set you the price of the car and $200 plus + time
