Default What compression ratio is needed to run CTR,skunk2 STG2 and STG3 cams?

what compression is needed to run ctr cams?
whats the max compression stock ls sleeves can take?
What compression ratio makes these cams run to therir potential?
What rods will do the job for a mild ls/vtec build?, such as eagle etc?
what compression is needed to run stg2 and stg3 skink cams?
Is there a noticable diff in 11.1 and 12.1 motor compression?, and will the cams perform better with 11.1,11.2,12.1,12.5 etc u get the point.

This will be my daily driver and i have 94 oct here in NOVA baby, thats a blessing!!! but 93 is everywhere. My revlimit will be 9k, so lmk what u guys think, thank you..

First off just my opinion

what compression is needed to run ctr cams?

10.5 to 12.5 (basic mods needed i/h/e )

whats the max compression stock ls sleeves can take?

13.0:1 (9cc piston gsr head milled 89 crank)

What compression ratio makes these cams run to their potential?

11.0:1 (depending on header and port intake tb so forth)

What rods will do the job for a mild ls/vtec build?, such as eagle etc?

eagles are cool

what compression is needed to run stg2 and stg3 skunk cams?

stage 2 12.0:1+ stage 3 13.5:1+ (the cam thing is kinda a trick question because of header intake and head porting. in a n/a setup the whole engine is a team work thing)

Is there a noticeable diff in 11.1 and 12.1 motor compression?, and will the cams perform better with 11.1,11.2,12.1,12.5 etc u get the point.

Yes! Depending on setup intake mani header cams etc.

Also you might want to invest in some injectors 440, Hondata, regulator, clutch, tb, Hondata intake gasket, msd etc. get the works

Good luck with your research and set up

well I got beat to the punch oh well atleast it's bubba .............I have leslies engine pic on my comp desktop....( what!!!! I am sucker for fast, nice looking all motor engines )

make it breath and feed it fuel and have able to handle the power and you should be fine and running strong for a very long time, but do get it tuned you will be so happy you did dont skimp on anything. like everything bubba said is what it will take to make this a very nice street set up.

I'm trying to soak in the information given here. So 11.7:1 with CTR cams "should" be fine. Correct?
