I think the thread got deleted, but I **** you not this very morning there was somebody even a step worse than this. He had a "CF Look" 2 guage A pillar pod and he even had it but wanted pictures to see how it would "look with guages in it". Talk about lazy.

BTW: Thanks for a writeup man. I know people who this will be helpful to.

use of double-sided exterior trim tape from 3M would have looked much cleaner than the pop rivets.

just IMO

good idea with the pop rivets. i got an autometer tiple a pilar pod and gauges and mostly the same way but they come with color matched snaps. onlything i would bash on you about is that i would have put the gauges in and set up where the wires from the gauges are going to run, then pop rivet the pod to the pillar. other than that it's awesome.

"Oh ****! My rice level is plummeting!"
"How do you know, man?!?!"
"Because my riceometer that I installed in this CF over yellow pillar pod says so!"
"Maybe your bodykit fell off!"
"The humanity!"

But seriously, that's a great writeup and I've never used a rivet gun so I think it would come in handy were I ever to do so.
